End of the Basketball Season

Sophie had her last basketball game yesterday, along with a little pizza party and trophy presentation with her team. Grandpa Ben even came to watch and cheer her on. She had such a wonderful time playing, and she really improved a ton over the course of the season. She still hasn't made a basket on the tall hoops, but she is SO close now - and she couldn't get the ball even near that height when she started. She's also gained a lot of control over the ball and looks much more comfortable dribbling down the court. And most importantly, she had a lot of fun. She looks forward to practicing more and playing again next year.
