Ben's preschool put on their Christmas performance tonight. They learned a bunch of holiday songs and made a ton of different crafts and ornaments to decorate the hall. It was a wonderful night. Ben was a little nervous all day about it, but he did a fantastic job... and he was having fun, too. Near the end, each child got to pass out special gifts they had made for their parents. Ben was so proud to give these to us (a pinecone Christmas tree for Adam and a photo ornament for me) and it is obvious he worked really hard on all the different holiday projects. After the show was over, there was time for refreshments; Ben got a plate for himself and sat right down in a little picnic with a bunch of his classmates. It was fun to watch them all sit and chat like that. He really loves preschool and he's made some great friends.
