The difference six years can make...

We planted a tiny crabapple tree in the yard during Sophie's first summer. This tree was so tiny, even Sophie was taller than it. Over the last few years it has grown in leaps and bounds - and last year it had just a couple tiny blossoms. This spring, for the first time, the tree is absolutely covered in blossoms. It is so beautiful, and Sophie was so excited to see them start to open. 

I hunted through pictures to find one from the day we planted the tree - it is amazing to see how it has grown, and even more amazing to see how Sophie has changed. It's hard to believe she was that tiny baby not so long ago.
