Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easter. We had dinner at Adam's folks' house on Saturday. It was nice to visit with everyone and the kids had a ball playing with their cousins all afternoon. 

This morning the kids were up bright and early to hunt for eggs the Easter Bunny left downstairs for them. They get SO excited, it is really fun to watch. Then we went over to my mom's for her birthday (and Easter) cookout lunch. After rain (and snow!) yesterday, it was luckily nice out today and we were able to be outdoors the whole time. The kids took turns re-hiding all of their empty eggs out in the yard and hunting for them over and over again. 

Now we're home for a quiet evening before we jump back into the school routine tomorrow morning.
