What a lovely day we had with our family - and how much we have to be thankful for. We spend the day at my grandmother's house with my mom, sisters, Grammy and Cathy. We ate a tasty meal and had a nice visit. Unlike the horror stories you hear about other families dreading their holiday gatherings, we are so lucky to have such a relaxed, happy family. I love when we can all spend time together, laughing and enjoying each other's company. We are truly very blessed.
After we got home, we kept with our tradition of putting up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving evening. The kids had been looking forward to it all week, and they loved hanging the ornaments and listening to Christmas music. We are all excited to begin the Christmas season!
