Shyness is fading?

I think Ben is finally starting to overcome this shy phase he's been going through. Yesterday when we were waiting to pick Sophie up at her school, Ben saw another little boy playing on the floor with a train. Ben walked right over, sat down and said, "Hi. my name is Ben. What's your name?" Then they played for the next five minutes until the bell rang and it was time to get Sophie. 

Then last night we went to a birthday party for one of Ben's friends (they are just two days apart) at Chuck E. Cheese. There is this area with a camera where kids can dance and see themselves on a tv. A month ago he would have sat with me and not wanted to get up with the other kids. Tonight he was up there dancing like a crazy person all over the place. He talked with all kinds of kids (not just ones at the party) out in the game area. One little girl watched him play a game, and when Ben was done he grabbed one of his tokens and gave it to her as he left. He told me she didn't have any and he thought she would like to play, too. What a sweet boy he is. 

I'm so glad to see him getting out there any being involved again. He's having so much more fun!
