Lyrical

Sophie started her new dance class this evening. The class is for ages 6-10, but the teacher she's had for all her other classes ok'd her to enroll since she's had enough experience and will be 6 soon. She is the youngest there, obviously, but there are three first graders who were all in a previous class with her. It's nice for her to know people already and to have others near her age. Beside those girls, I think there are three older girls in the class as well. So it's not a huge group. 

I got to stay and watch the class, as they always allow for the first day, and I was surprised by how much more advanced the class is from the others she's taken. I knew it would be different, but the teacher jumped right into a new routine and taught all the girls several new moves right away. Sophie kept up really well and enjoyed it a lot. I look forward to how much she'll learn this year!
