Ben's first day

Ben walking into preschool. I promise he was excited - he just hates having his picture taken right now!
Ben had his first day of preschool today. His class is from 9:00 to noon, meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and is with other 3 and 4 year olds. After seeing Sophie go to Ms. Laurie's for two years, he has been very anxious to start going himself. He went right inside and sat down with some play-doh as soon as we got there. There were only two others there and one more will be joining on Thursdays. Laurie expects some late add-ons, but she always keeps the younger class on the small side anyhow. 

When I arrived to pick him up, he was the first one out the door leading the line with the "special helper" sticker on. He was very proud he got chosen for the very first day. He ran right up to me and jumped up for a hug, and said he'd had a great time. He talked all the way home about what they did, and said again how much he loved it. I'm so happy he had a good day!
