First day of Kindergarten!

Sophie's first day was wonderful! She couldn't wait to get out to the bus stop, and then she walked up and got right on with no problems when the bus arrived. It was hard for Adam and me to watch her go, but exciting at the same time. I thought about her all day long and couldn't wait for her to get home and tell me everything. 

When the bus finally came this afternoon, she ran right over to us and told us she'd had a great time at school. She was thirsty and hungry (it was tough to start school on a day with temps in the 90s!), so she settled in for a snack and told us all about her day. She likes her teacher, has friends in her class, loved recess, got to go to music class, and learned all about the rules of the school. In her words, she "wicked loved it" and although she was tired, she kept talking about how she can't wait to go back tomorrow!
