The other day, Sophie was talking about what she wanted to be when she grows up. She told me she couldn't decide between a singer, a chef, or a surgeon. I assured her that she had plenty of time to decide, and that for now she could just practice the things she likes and when she's older she'll be better prepared to make a choice.
She thought about that for a minute and then said, "Yeah, but you really shouldn't practice being a surgeon."
She's got me there.
