Sophie had her birthday party today with a great group of friends. She had so much fun! She chose a pop star theme for her party, so we had fun planning around that. We got some fun shiny stars to hang, lots of streamers, and LOTS of music. I made candy hearts to put on top of the cupcakes. She sat with me one afternoon and picked some of her favorite pop songs to create a mix for the party, and then we burned copies for all of her friends to take home as a party favor. Sophie also got a new Just Dance for Kids game for the Wii, so the kids had fun taking turns playing that. It was very cute to watch. Sophie had a wonderful day, and it was nice to see her celebrating with her friends.
