To my little man

Benjamin,

Tomorrow you turn four years old, and I am amazed at all of the new things you have done this year. As mama just wrote, you have truly gone from being a toddler to a little boy this past year. I am always amazed at how quickly you learn and you always seem to have new accomplishments to show off.

You tend to be shy when asked to show something you can do. I hope you learn soon that there is no reason to be shy and the world is much more fun when you take risks. At the same time, you are an outgoing little boy, and are very loving. You make those around you so happy with your smiles and your laugh.

I love you so much, Benjamin. I am very proud of you.
