Big boy bike

One of the kids' current favorite activities is riding their bikes. They ride all time time, often with their friends. Ben has been using a tricycle, and doing great on it. Sophie never like the tricycle very much, but Ben hauls down the driveway with it. He's been eyeing all of the older kids with their big bikes for awhile, though. He gave a test drive on one of the girls' bikes next door (a little smaller than Sophie's) and he loved it, so we started looking for one. 

Yesterday they started a sale at Toys R Us and we got a great deal on a cute little blue bike that Ben loves. I brought him for a special trip while Sophie was in preschool, and he was so excited. When the employee brought the bike out of the back for us, Ben lit right up and said, "Thank you very much!" He couldn't wait to get home and ride it. He's been using it all afternoon and does so well on it. I can't believe he's out there riding around like the big kids already!
