Sophie has finally discovered Legos. We have a set of the bigger toddler Legos that she and Ben enjoy, but they've never been a favorite. I had just started thinking that Sophie would like real Legos now, and then she started talking about how she uses them at school and that the Lego station is one of her favorite things to do during inside recess.
So when we stopped at Toys R Us on Ben's birthday, she wanted to look at the Lego kits. She chose a 94-piece helicopter set. She opened it up as soon as we got home and started figuring out the instructions with Adam. She needed a little help learning to read the directions and understand how the diagrams worked, but she got the hang of it very quickly. She built the whole thing with very little help and was so proud. She took the whole thing apart this morning and re-built it all on her own.
