Tying her shoes

Sophie got curious about tying her own shoes last fall when her friend was learning how as part of the Kindergarten Phys Ed curriculum. Sophie could do it, technically, but it took her forever. She lost the patience to do it often, so she never got really proficient with it. However, today she decided she wanted to be able to tie her own shoes when she starts school next month, so she just sat down and did it. She's been practicing all day, and she'd definitely got it down now. She'll be so proud when she starts school and can already do it while the other kids are learning!
