Brand new boy!

Ben finally decided that he wanted his hair cut. He's been insistent about growing it out, but I think the heat finally got to him. Even when I try to keep it up, he's been a sweaty mess lately and I think he finally realized how much cooler he would be without the long hair. And he actually loves getting a haircut, so he was excited about that part, too. Here are the before-during-after shots...

   

he was such a good boy and was really happy with the end result. He's already saying that he wants to grow it back out again, but he loves the short hair for now. I keep having to look twice at him every time he runs by because he looks like a totally different kid. Still completely adorable, though, of course!
